need help pls.

When i try to run a couple of different programs cpu wont let me and gives following mssg. 'Component 'MSCOMM32.OCX or one ofits dependencies not correctly registered :a file is missing or invalid . Any help much appreciated. ty

 

You need to register the component with the Windows program -REGSVR32.EXE. Use the following command:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\REGSVR32.EXE C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MSCOMM32.OCX

 

Oops Forgot! Run REGSRVR32 commands in a dos prompt, or "Start"->"Run".

tHANKS FOR UR REPLY I JUST TRIED RUNNING THAT PATH AND SAYS IT CAN'T FIND C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\REGSVR32.EXE ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS THANKS

sorry for lata response i have xp home running on a p4 . Another thing i discover is that cpu is not creating no recovery points i have iincreased the memory to the max with no results .???????????
