Ok, so i had a virus and stupidly deleted realtek audio trying to clear my computer...(wont be doing that again in a hurry) my laptop is a toshiba satellite A100-062 running on vista, trouble is ive been onto the toshiba website and for some strange reason the model A100-062 doesnt come in the catergory, therefor i cannot install the missing audio driver. I have tried installing realtek for vista, and when im about to install it it says "no driver was supported in this package" i have searched everywhere to try fix this and nothings good so far! hope you guys can help :) thanks for your time.

Please post what Device Manager says about your Realtek Audio and what flavor of Vista you are running.
It will make finding the right driver easier.

The realtek just fails to install and says "no driver was supported in this package", and i am running a program called "last xp" on my laptop but it is the same as vista im not too sure what u mean by flavour. The model number for my laptop is PSAANE-03G00DEN. Also my disk drive isnt working for some reason, so i cannot use any disks |: Thanks for your time guys.

Halo, i just tried to install EVEREST and it came up with this "Your computer seems to have intel i945GM/PM "calistoga" motherboard chipset. The current version of EVEREST does not fully support your system." It seems anything i try to do to fix this problem another problem comes around the corner...

    Thought you said running Vista.
    Report shows as XP Pro.

I dont know lots about computers :| but it is very similar to vista, will that be why i cannot install the realtek because i downloaded the version for vista?

    Could be a possibility.
If there is a different version for XP, give it a try.
    Nothing to lose,everything to gain.
