Older geeks please help! I am currently writing some memoirs and cannot for the life of me remember the model Gateway that I purchased in 1996. I remember it had a 333 processor (I believe PII). It was around the time when Gateway retail stores just opened. I also puchased a 19" 100lb CRT monitor with it, I think it was a Sony. Anyhow, any input/links/resources would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Do a Google Search on Gateway parts for lots of links

One I remember is the Mondo Corp at http://www.mundocorp.com/

    Hope this jogs your memory.

    Greetings, S.E.B....

I got a Gateway G6-400 about that time frame - PII-400, 512mb of PC-133 RAM (custom ordered!), 20gig HD, Win98SE, Gateway VX-900 19in. monitor, Boston Acoustic Media Theater speakers (which I'm still using) - at the time, it was the baddest machine in this part of the state...

    Might be close to yours...
