I put windows 7 on my desktop.

Be for i had to use windows xp to install windows 7

How do i delete all the files from Xp

 

Disk cleanup, should then scan for a bit and say something like remove old windows setup files or something.

 

I was talking about deleting old xp files on windows 7.I found this item worked.Older files take up too much space on the HDD and make it slower.

   If you're again prompted to choose a drive, click the drive you just installed Windows on, and then click OK.
3. Select the Previous Windows installation(s) check box, and any other check boxes for the files you want to delete, and then click OK.
4. In the message that appears, click Delete Files.

I all so got another Question did they ever find a fix for Windows media player 11 and 12 the Library issue where it would not let you skip parts of a video be cause the length time of the video never showed up.

 

So you mean, you used disk cleanup exactly like i said and it fixed your problem? Sorry for helping.
