Need help selecting a right video card

Now first my PC isn't completed but these are the parts that I own:

Cheiftech Full tower case
AMD Anthlon 3500+
EPoX 9NPA3 SLI Motherboard
1GB DDR400 RAM (Will upgrade to 2GB withen of a week of my system up and runnning)
Western Digital 120GB SATAII HD
Sony DVD Burner
(waiting for Vista)

So all that I need is a Video Card and a PSU. The monitor, Keyboard, and stuff is in the bank.

What kind of Video Card should I be looking at. I don't like ATI's cards and I would like to not spend $500. But I will if I half to. Only if I half to. I just don't know what to do plese someone help me.

Also I forgot to add that my processor will be OC to about 2.5Ghz. Obviously I will be useing it for gameing as well.

 

Is it possible, you think, to put two 7300GT's in and call it a gameing system?
