Need Help to Recover Photos from PC!

I'm not sure I'm posting this in the right place, but here goes. I encrypted a folder containing photos on my PC. When I decrypted the folder, the photos disappeared. Can anyone tell me where the picture might have gone and/or how to recover them from my hard drive?

First thing I'd do is to run a search. Be sure to enable searching in hidden folder and in system folders. Enter a file name of one of the pictures as your search item. If that doesn't do it, visit the Data Recovery section here at Major Geeks and download one of the free file/photo recovery utilities. I've personally used Restoration and PC Inspector with great success... good luck!

You may want to visit the web site of whoever made the encryption software you used and see if they're any help...
