Need help with Boot Virus

    Hello Fellow-Geekers,

    My brother just told me that he has a boot sector virus on his computer. Now, here is my question. Is there an anti-virus that can scan off of a self bootable disc for a boot sector virus?

    Try Avast!

    Immediately after installation it allows you to run a boot sector scan at the next startup. Thereafter you can run a boot scan anytime you wish. Just tell it to do that before you shut down.
