...Need help with game pad question?...

To any gamers: and any body else: what game pads do you use for PC games. I got a Tomb Raider for x-mas for my pc. I have a play station and other older boxs, but I wondered what others are using.
I have an old computer P233, 48 ram, 3dfx voodoo3, ms natural keyboard, and for a joystick logitech digital wingman extreme.
In two months when I get some money back from uncle sam from the tax man, I going to build a computer, and things will speed up.
My question is, I need a game pad that will work with both new and old computers. I using the keyboard now for tomb raider, and the keys are sticking, and I’ve done all the cleaning that’s possible.

my suggestion would be to get a new keyboard and mouse and while you're at it get a RatPadz as mouse-surface...

 

I have in the mouse department an IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 Optical, don’t need a mouse pad. The keyboard works fine, except during game play, you know, when jumping or any action play. I push way too hard and the keys stick, but for normal typing the keyboard works just fine. I need a game controller sorry about that

Well, I (ab)use the MS SideWinder FreeStyle Pro for racing / flight games and just the mouse / keyboard combination for other games (fps', rpg, rts etc)

 

Thrustmaster firestorm here. Not exactly thrilled with it. The D-pad is a total miss + it fails to work properly after a very short time.
I would use Sony's Dual shock, if only I could find a way to use it with the PC. Now that was a product.

 

I use the regular thustmaster kicks some serious ass with it.
