    Hi,
I would be so happy if anyone yould tell me how to get rid of this malware...
Originally it started showing pop-ups and adwising to download pest capture. I followed the steps in the "Read & run this first" section til step 7, but bitdefender still shows an infection, it can`t disinfect.
I will attach all logfiles I got during the process...
Thank you a lot in advance! I`ll attach the next two files in another thread.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

It should have been in a second message in the same thread! Not a new thread. I merged your two threads back into one.

You forgot to attach the log from CounterSpy! Did it find anything? If not, then you can uninstall it now since we are finished with it and it is only a trial program.

You don't have too many things to worry about.

    Delete the below folders:
    C:\Programme\BearShare Applications
    C:\Program Files\PestCapture
    C:\Programme\SpyNoMore

    Delete the below files:
    C:\Programme\Download_spynomore.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\actskn45.ocx

Other than that you are clean! Are you still having problems?

    still some problems...

Thank you for your prompt answer, I deleted the files you indicated, but nevertheless bitdefender still found some stuff. I reran all applications and attached the new logfiles.
Would you be so kind to take another look?
    Thanks a lot, Kotori

...by the way, sorry for posting two threads last time, It`s my first time in this forum...
I can`t seem to attach runkey and newfiles, even after renaming them, so I guess they are the same as in the last thread...?

    Re: still some problems...

I did not ask you to run another BitDefender scan and it is not recommended until we finish final cleaning steps. All it found were things in System Restore and since we did not do our final steps yet (which includes toggling system restore as mentioned in step 8 of the READ ME) there are still things in System Restore.

Since your logs are clean, if you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. If we used Pocket Killbox during your cleanup, do the below
      • Run Pocket Killbox and select File, Cleanup, Delete All Backups
    2. If we used ComboFix, you can delete the ComboFix.exe file, C:\ComboFix folder, C:\QooBox folder, and the C:\combofix.txt log that was created.
    3. If we user SDFix you can delete all the SDFix related files and folders from your Desktop or whereever you installed it.
    4. If we used VundoFix, you can delete the VundoFix.exe file and the C:\VundoFix Backups folder and C:\vundofix.txt log that was created.
    5. If we had your run FixWareOut, you can delete the Fixwareout.exe file and the C:\fixwareout folder.
    6. If we had you run Avenger, you can delete all files related to Avenger now.
    7. If we had you download any registry patches like fixme.reg or fixWLK.reg (or any others), you can delete these files now.
    8. You can delete the ShowNew.Zip and GetRunkey.Zip files and the files that you extracted from the ZIP files. You can also delete the C:\newfiles.txt and C:\runkeys.txt logs that were created
    9. If you are running Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • go back to step 8 of the READ & RUN ME to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    10. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

Thank you very much for your help,
Now my computer seems to be clean again!
you are doing a lot of good work here.
