Need help with "mediashifting issue"

    This is a good friend's computer. I know only a little about these kinds of things and she knows a lot less so I am helping, but I need help. I have done as much of the READ & RUN ME FIRST as I can figure out.

    I have attached the logs I have. I am not able to run Combo
    fix; the virus trips it up every time and it stops running. Someone told me today to forget it that it will never go away and I need to reformat and reinstall. Youch.

    She was not running any anti-virus program at all and I have not been able to install one at this point.

    Hoping for some assistance.

    You said Combofix could not run but what about:
    • Malware Bytes
    • TDSSKiller
    • Root repeal (unless on 64 bit)
    • MGTools
