Need help with medload.exe

I'm a beginner at this so bear with me - I have a trojan virus "medload.exe" - I keep getting something called popuppers.com that is taking over my puter. Any advice?

Judging by your log, medload is the least of your problems.

You should note that HijackThis is a LAST step and that yours is way out of date. You are also running it improperly. Please delete your copy and wait for further instructions regarding HJT.

It looks like you have made an effort to clean up, but there is a lot of crapware on your log.

Please look in Add or Remove Programs for the following and remove them:
PrecisionTime
WinTools
Web Rebates
BigFix ---> This is Legitimate, but uninstall it for now
MyDailyHoroscope
Date Manager
WebHancer
GMT (Gator)

NEXT:
Follow the instructions in this tutorial very carefully and thoroughly. Note to be in Safe Mode with System Restore OFF. Make sure to do the Online Scans! Note the steps that you are able to complete and the ones that give you problems.
