Need Help with Mozilla

I'm quite new with Mozilla. I have this many questions in mind, please answer it:

• How do you install some plug-ins that is already in my computer, like Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash Player, Sun Java, Quicktime, RealPlayer and Windows Media Player?
• How do I add search engines that is not listed in the Firefox Add-ons website?
• Is there a separate program to download the Windows Update since I'll probably remove IE?

So far those are my question... :confused

 

Not sure about your plug in issue. To add additional search engines, in the top right corner there should be a Google or whatever your default search engine with an icon and an arrow you can click on and then go to Manage Search Engine.

I only use IE for Windows updates, so I kept it. In th picture, you click on the indicated section, you can get to the Search Engine options.

as to ur plug-in issue i'm not sure how to get the plug ins from ur comp to firefox but this is all the plugin' u'll need

Actually, I was asking how to MAKE a search engine if it is not available in http://mycroft.mozdev.org/. Anyways... I think I'll just request them to make a search engine for the site that I want.

About that, I already knew about that site. My question was how do I make those plug-ins work without downloading it again? :heart

Don't try to remove IE. That's all I know, sorry, lol.

removing IE isint a good idea it wont help much in the long run although it isint hard to get it back if u get rid of it and get it back u might get spy ware like i did so for the sake of your comp keep IE

 

Here's a couple of extensions you might be able to make use of. The first one is "add to search bar": https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3682
The second is the "Groowe search toolbar: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/534
The first is the one that would probably work for you the best.
