need help with mp3 properties ASAP!

im about to pack up my computer but im trying to stuff my ipods before i leave...basically, say i have like 100 tracks. some mp3s have values for the song title, some dont. without having to go into each individual property, i want to make the title value the same as part of the filename, is that possible?

for example...

Armin Van Buuren - ASOT 10-10-2004.mp3
Armin Van Buuren - ASOT 11-10-2004.mp3
Armin Van Buuren - ASOT 12-10-2004.mp3

and i want the title of the tracks in the properties to be

ASOT 10-10-2004
ASOT 11-10-2004
ASOT 12-10-2004

is there some program that will do this?

 

There are several java applets that will allow you to do this, just do a standard google search.

If you are not into java apps, then download MusicMatch, (they have a trail version I am sure) and it will allow you to rename all mp3 files based on the mp3 tags. If the Mp3 doesn't have tags (less than 10% in most cases) then you are SOL. =)
