need help with my direct x9.c

    ive just bought a game which requires direct x 9.c i have direct x 9.c on my pc but when i load up the game i get a msg saying 'couldnt find direct x ' im new to pc's so any help is greatful... :confused:

    start>run>dxdiag

    See if you indeed have 9c, and also see if it gives you any error codes.

    Most Software that requires a particular Direct X version usally comes with it on the CD. Explore the Game CD to see if its there (For Quake 4 its listed under "Extras").
