Need help with my hijacked IE, its different then others

    Ok I got a huge problem
    Spybot, Adawere didnt work nor did anty other spyware problem...
    I downloaded your hujackthis programm that did not work trust me I tried everything
    In registry under sofrtware/microsofr/internet explorer/main there are
    HOMEOldSP type REG_SZ data about:blank
    there is also a start page file
    I will delete these files however they will always come back
    Spybot will find this file HOMEOldSP under name webdialer and there is also a cookie that keeps coming back Avenue inc.
    I am taken to about:blank website the exact site is
    http://searchx.cc/

    I would suggest not clicking on this link becasue that is where you pick up this bull...
    any suggestions?
    I understand that there must be a process running in the background but I cant find it
    it slows my computer down allot too

    You should have posted this in the Software thread. You would get more hits.
    At any rate download and run CWShredder and see if that helps you. It's available here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4086.html
    Close down all windows (especially Internet Explorer) before running and cleaning what it finds.

    Thank you very much
    Turns out I had a virus as well.
    However for some reason that proggram was blocking my ANti virus and I could not update it
    now its fixed
