Need help with my internet!!

I've had Comcast for the past 3 or 4 months and everything was working fine. I bought a router (Netgear 5-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch 10/100/1000 Mbps GS605) cause I have 2 computer connected, a PC (Windows XP SP2) and a Macintosh (Mac OS X Tiger). My Mac works very nice with the internet but when I connect my PC, it doesn't let me connect to the internet for no reason. It says that there's limited connection or no connection at all. I've tried uninstalling the driver and then, reboot, and it installed it but it still didn't let me connect to the internet. The weirdest think is that, if I connect directly to my modem, its works just fine. What can I do to fix this problem? Thanks in advance!!

 

Are you trying to get a wireless Internet connection with the PC (Windows XP SP2)?

 

I don't have wireless on my PC. I had wireless on my Mac but the router I had died on me so I got a wried router.

 

Take a look at No Internet Through the Router. Does that help?

 

So what you're saying is that, I didn't buya router? Oopps!! I thought it was a router. I'm gonna get a ROUTER than. Thanks!!
