need help with new computer

i just put my computer together and as soon as i turn it on, the fans turn, light light up and about 1 second later everything shuts down...

i do not want to play with this and risk damaging any of the parts.

any idea what may cause this?

 

do all of your parts match to the mother board specs

 

Also are you sure the PSU has enough power?

Could you post what you put into your system?

 

as far as i know, i asked others on this web site.

another funny thing... i dont here a thing when it powers on for 1 second.

so i disconnected the BFG video card and triend again, no joy

 

wow... it was a cable, the 4 pin from psu to mother board. switched it out with another and now the system stays on
