Need help with new vid card.

I need help to try and figure out what im doing wrong. I just bought a BFG geforce mx 4000 and I can't get any video.

My sys is this mobo(Abit kt7e) CPU (AMD Athalon 900) ram (394( 3-128 pc133)) OS (windowsXP PRO with sp-2).

I have updated bios to A9 (the latest) and I have updated the drivers for the mobo.

I'm lost and need help if there is some info I missed please let me know thanks

try installing the new forceware driver 81.95 remember to disable your antivirus when installing...

What video card did you upgrade from?

Also, when you stated that you can't get any video, what do you mean by this?

 

Ok first the vid card i'm upgrading from is the geforce 3 ti200 64meg.

Second; when I said that "i get no video" I get no post no nothing the moniter stays blank.

From what I have been told from BFG my sys should be able to run the card with no problems. I have also tried the card in another sys and it worked fine.
