Need help with Opera Browser

I have installed the latest Beta version of Opera (v9.60) but my problems also applied to recent releases.

See thumbnail. I get a circle beside each download that used to appear if something was wrong with the download. If the download was ok, then no circle. These downloads are all OK.

Next I used to get speed (in KB/s) against each download and it remained as an entry for each download. Now sometimes I get speed against the Latest download only . All previous download speed entries just vanish.

Transfer (download screen) with download info. I would like to keep this as a tab but can't figure out how. Opera on-line help is no help for me. :cry
