Need help with photoshop program

First off,
I am sorry if this is in the wrong place. I am new here. Maybe you all can help me.
I am looking for a photosuit program. Kind of like photoshop program.
I want to be able to make a text box, use fonts that I have downloaded and color the background of it.
I have a website and the only way for people to see my downloaded fonts is for me to make it in a program and save it as a picture, do you understand what I mean?
I know on this site there are plenty of programs like that but I am hoping maybe somebody would suggest one that relates to what I am looking for.

Hey I downloaded it and am having some trouble. I can see how to make a text a certain way, how how do I create a text box? Thanks
