Need help with "res:" removal!

I have a "res" hijacker (specifically one named "res://iuxoc.dll/index.html#9667")

I printed the instructions above to try and remove this PITA, but I am stuck on step 5. I don't have this file located on my machine....now what?

Here is my hijack this log (if it's any help!) I keep deleting the iuxoc references, but of course, they keep coming back. I've run ad-aware, spybot, spybot S&D, but to no avail.

Just ran a2; it found 4 files, I cleaned them out, deleted the cookies, ran hijack this, deleted that crap, but it is still here! HELP!

I would personally like to shoot right in the face, the JERKS that come up with these malicious programs! How do you sleep at night? Do you spend your free time kicking puppies and pushing old ladies down at the supermarkets? Shame on you!

Hi. I am having trouble removing an res:// file, and I tried using Hijackthis and a2. It removes it, but keeps coming back. Help! How can I remove this period.

 

Its usually best to start a new thread, but have you tried the removal tool listed earlier in this thread?
