Hello all, I have been coming to this site for quality and knowledgable answers to difficult computer issues for quite a while. This is my first actual post as I cannot find the exact stuff I am currently looking for.
I had been having quite alot of problems out of this system and am getting a new barebones kit here soon, but need this current system to survive until then. Sadly I have three laptops to use, but they are not compatable with my size.
I would like to have some of this communities quality advice on what barebones kit I should look into. It would be awesome if I can use some of my current computers parts, if only my graphics card. I will list some of my specs below ( if this is the incorrect place to post the specs I apologise and will gladly move it to where I am told to. ) Oh, as far as price I was looking to spend around 200$ to 300$ a little over or under is fine.
As far as my current system goes I am having a hard time locating and confirming the release of drivers for my system. Just before this most recent reformat of windows xp I was having BSODs like crazy. Since reformatting I have not had any, which leads me to believe that the previous drivers that I found and used were conflicting alot. I ended up accidentally throwing away all of the error/crash reports so I have no way of knowing, but have to press on anyway.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ANY AND ALL ADVICE AND TIPS THAT I RECIEVE. It is greatly appreciated.

    system: windows xp with SP3
motherboard- EVGA 650i Ultra (NF66), chipset Nvidia nforce 650i ultra
Ram-2 gigs of OCZ XTC Platinum rev. 2 ( sequential off of factory line i think)
Bios- Phoenix Awardbios v6.00pg [ I am pretty sure I need to update this ]
processor- quadcore intel core 2 quad Q6600, 2400mhz
GPU- PNY Verto GeForce GTX 550 TI
Harddrive- 40 GB [recently replaced, I know it is not much storage]
***I can get voltage and temp readings if neccessary through AIDA64.

Oh forgot to mention that I had found some drivers for the motherboard and have already gotten the one for my graphics card.
The two I have for my motherboard are: 8.43 nforce 650i winxp32 and 15.57 nforce winxp32bit international whql.
Problem is that I have no clue which is the latest and if they contain all of the drivers for the motherboard I need.
    again thanks for any help.

Very well, I shall try to figure this out myself. Please lock or delete this thread, as I will not be checking it anymore.

Use this program for me please--->http://www.majorgeeks.com/Speccy_d6358.html

Install it then let it load takes about 2 to 3 mins to gather info.

Then when it is done gathering info.At the top of Speccy to the left go to File>Then save as Text file.

When you open the Text file edit out the Network Ip address's to protect you.It will be way at the bottom of the page. This will help us further.

And if this is for an up grade then we will need to know how big your power supply is.
