Sorry for the weird title but i didn't know what to put.OK heres the problem, im reinstalling windows xp and i want to wipe it with my hard drive disk wipe(cd that wipes the hard drive multiple times for security reasons), it is on a cd, so when i pop it in and restart windows it does not start the cd, so i go into my bois menu to set the cd to boot first but sadly i don't know how to do it, on my other computer i did it already and the menu looks very different but on this newer one i just don't know how to do it, can some one help me?i know its hard to explain but this is the only way i know how to explain it!

    chris thanks in advance!

youll have to change the bios like you did on the other computer. look for boot order.

Well the only thing that looks similar to boot order is boot sequence, but i tryed it and it did not work, it is where the computer looks for the operating system, the other things that look like it could be are drive configuration, and hard drive sequence,im still puzzled! What should i do!

no i want to wipe it out using a cd that had a program called nuke which wipes out the memory a few times on my computer before i install windows xp!so i still have windows xp on, infact im using the computer that im doing this to right now. i just want my computer to boot from the cd and start it, instead of windows xp, so i can erase windows xp using the cd, lol kinda confusing!

You need to change the boot order so it boots from the CD before the hard drive.
It would help others if you gave the brand and model of your computer so people can see what BIOS your computer has.
