Need help with sound card..........

    This may be software related but here goes. Recently purchased and installed a Creative Soundblaster Live 24 bit sound card from NewEgg. Works great with online sound and with mic but when attempting to play CD in CD Rom it tries to open up Dell Jukebox Musicmaster and then locks up my comp and only way to overcome is to remove power from comp and reapply power and then immed remove CD from CD Rom. What am I doing wrong and what do you suggest. I have a Dell 4600 PC, 2.4 proc, 80 gig hd dr, 1 gig Ram OS is XP home. Thanks.

    dd you try uninstalling/reinstalling the soundcard drivers? same with the music player
