After spending way too much time trying to get Zone Alarm to stop eating my CPU, I uninstalled it and installed SPF.

It works well with the exception that I can't see networked machines.

    I have a Netgear MR814v3 router.

I have folders and printers shared on both machines, and could easily access the LAN before SPF. Now no machine can see the other.

So far, SPF is only installed on this machine...the other is still Windows XP Firewall.

I have checked the boxes on the Network Neighborhood tab. I even created an advanced rule to try to allow the IP range of the networked PC's.

I've rebooted both machines after each change.

I'm guessing it's something simple, so I look forward to a solution.

    Thanks!

    I just noticed something else.

From my laptop, I can see and access all shared files on the other 2 desktops.

From the Sygate machine, I can't see any other machine.
