need help with teamspeak3

Hi guys,

needing help with team speak 3. I'm running Vista home pro and am receving the "failed to connect to server " problem. Thought it was my firewall (Comondo) and uninstalled it to see if I could get it to work, no go. someone suggested it might be my virus protection, I disabled Avast to see if it would work, again a no go. I made sure Windows firewall excepted team speak as a safe prog, again no go. I'm not a comp wiz but do understand alittle bit. If someone could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it. I need Teamspeak to play an online game. I'm not sure what kinda info you may need to know about my system but if you ask I'll give ya what I know. Also I'm not able to get firefox to connect or Avast to update my virus protection. thinking this may be one and the same problem... HELP!!!
