Need help with text

how do you copy a text ( basically jokes etc ) to your mobile phone , i tried using notepad then saving the text then drag and drop into my memory card but i get unsupported file , i thought that might work but i was wrong , is there any kind of software for doing this or is there a simple way that i dont no about , the phones in question are the samsung genio and samsung u600 , thanks

Whos your service provider?

Did your phone come with software and was it PC Studio 3.1 (do get latest version) and does it have SMS/text functions for pre-creating text on your PC, I did just read it manages messages, so may allow in software creation, worth reading the manual?

Some of the service providers offer text (SMS) from your account via the web, O2 (look down right menu list for free text) my service provider do offer free

BT have a 5 text trial HERE (is a sign up thing with alot of personal info)

Virgin Media have this service HERE (but you use your home phone to text)

The above ways may help get the texts sent to yoru phone (Virgin way seems long winded)

*I could give you loads of the online free text services I could just search for but not done that as I have no idea how many of them are on privacy and if they would sell on your number to spammers etc, but the above ones are for UK users pretty safer bet.
