need help with usb mouserate switcher

    constantly when I try to use this it tells me this:

    Windows XP/2k3 USB Mouserate Switcher
    -------------------------------------

    Operating System : Windows XP


    ERROR: Could not find a valid sequence!
    Please use Windows' original "usbport.sys"!

    even in safe mode :(
    please help me
