need help writing a .bat file

im trying to write a .bat file that essentialy opens up windows media player to a saved playlist and after the playlist is finished closes the media player and runs a second .bat file

i need help with the code can anyone help me?

Old versions of MP had a /close command, but recent versions don't seem to have it. Conversely, recent versions can run a playlist from a batch file, but old versions can't. I can't think of any way to close MP after playing the playlist without manual intervention. The batch file itself is pretty straightforward----it's getting MP to automatically close after playing the playlist that's difficult or impossible.

I'm not familiar with other players, but perhaps there's another one out there that will automatically close (via a command line switch) after playing something.

Sorry, but that's all I know. Maybe someone else will have a bright idea.
