   i don't know what to do. I formatted the HD and started to install xp pro, now its asking me for the key, but i want to stop the installation and install xp home instead. what do i do?

   Remove XP Pro CD, insert XP home CD, Restart PC and just boot to your XP home CD & run setup.
   Your going to need Key for that too!
