need help

hi all i'm new here so i hope some one can help well here i go computer needed an upgrade so went out and brought a new motherboard anthlon 64 3000+sckt754 chipset via k8t800/vt8237 slot 1agp 8x/4x)5*pci ide/sata :2*ata 133 /100/66 2*sata now comes the problem after we installed it our hard drive was formatted so we could start fresh anyway we needed a video card so we could plug in our monitor so we brought a e-gforce mx 4000 ddr 64mb agp 8x /4x now we tryed dowloading win xp home it won't do it tryed down loading all the software it won't do it the cd that came with mother board won't do it we have 1gb of memory the manuel that came with the mother board does give you much to work with how to set up the bios or any information can someone please help .maybe someone knows what we can do thank you so much help please

Are you getting any messages on the screen telling you why you can't load Windows onto your computer?
How far is it getting?
Have you set your BIOS to boot up from CD before hard drive?
Try following the information on this site: Hopefully you have the Award BIOS..

Hopefully now you should be able to boot from the Windows CD.
