need high speed internet

    I live in the country and can't get high speed internet what would I need to get a high speed connection?

    Is satellite an option where you live, or cable?

    Satellite should be available but be very watchfull when selecting the ISP. Some of them such as WildBlue have very strict monthly allotments that are very easy to exceed.

    The alternative might be something like Verison or Sprint with their portable hotspots that work by way of digital cellular towers.
