Need info on an amd1100 motherboard.

I have this computer here and I want to set it up to use the on board speaker plugs and also the on board ethernet. It will not let me use these on board so I had to use the add on boards. Is there anyway to get these to work on board ?

 

You may need the drivers for the onboard ethernet and sound for your motherboard. Everest http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html is a system information program which will provide weblinks to drivers for hardware installed on your system, among other things.

 

I had downloaded this and The motherboard is a pcchips M810LR. Where am I suppose to download the drivers for the audio and ethernet ? I go to the site and it gives me downloads for pci cards.

 

Expand the menu for Computer and select Summary. Beside the entries for audio adapters and network adapters will be the prodict identification in blue. Click on the line and it will give you a choice of product information or driver downloads. I'm including a screenshot as an example.

 

I have downloaded the driver for the sound. This was the only one I could find. But when I go to install it, It asked for the win98se disk. But it still will not load the driver to get the on board adio to work. It tell me in the program you gave me to download that the audio is a sis7018. And the ethernet is a sis900 Fast Ethernet 10/100 lan adaptor. But this one I could not find.

Thank you... I have downloaded and installed the driver for the ethernet. This guives me the space to install the extra usb ports. I will do the sound one tomorrow.
