Need info on ZDSoft & other video capture programs

Again, thanks in advance for the techy help. I have an issue. I need to capture some video stream off my desktop. Firefox will not recognize the clips, so that's out. I use ZDSoft and that works for grabbing it but it comes out like old single frame click click click kind of viewing when I am done. Is there another program that you may know of that can allow the stream to move at its real pace? As for capturing audio, I have that covered. Thanks again for any help you can lend me.
