need input on these parts for new computer

Now I'm not looking to blow anything out of the water by no means, I'm just trying to put together a low budget computer. I have a 120gb hdd and a dvd burner to work with already, as well as a 128mb ati radeon 9550 vid card (if I don't return it since it doesn't work with my crappy mobo right now).

Do these look good? I am on an extremely tight budget here.

Also, what case would you recommend? I'm not sure what case to get, simply because I don't know what's compatible with the mobo or not (if you get what I mean, the alignment of all the ports and stuff).

 

I would go with more of a name brand RAM like Kingston, Corsair, OCZ, etc. It really wouldn't cost much more. (If any) i.e.:

Also, if I were you, I'd go with AMD. The price to performance ratio is much better... Other than that, it looks OK.

 

case wise for being on a budget id get a powmax case. Cheap? Definately!
but they do workAs far as power goes dont skimp the psu listed above has 19amps on the 12v rail i would recommend more than that personally

 

I am backing Wyatt and his comments. Don't ever go cheap and/or generic when buying mobo, RAM and PSU!

Also when you decide on what mobo to buy, then you can check the manufacturer's site to find out the list of RAMs that had been approved which could help you a lot. Further more, google the brand/model of the RAM along with the model of your mobo you want to buy to see if there were any issues reported on any of the discussion/review site which could save you some headache later down the road.
