Need Keyboard only connection

Greetings,

I need a remote keyboard/mouse only connection. Due to bandwith and cpu usage by the program I am using I can't use remote desktop or other remote connections. I thought that if I just ran an identical program local and echo the keyboard/mouse through a tcp/ip connection, without the video, this would accomplish my task.

Does anyone know such a program that will allow me to echo keyboard/mouse to another computer connected via tcp/ip?

I am open to any suggestions...
