need Maxtor 6Y200P

I am trying to locate this exact HD:
Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 Model 6Y200P
200gb ATA/133
Code: YAR41VW0
K.M,G,D
I need everything to match so I can swap out the platters from my defunct drive and try to retrieve the files.
Does anyone have one that I could buy?

 

You can do this but It will be very hard. You must be exact or it wont work.

Also you cannot get any dust on the HD platters or it will effect them.

How the the hard drive fail?

HD locked up when I was opening a file. PC recognizes the HD but cannot see any of my files, or retrieve them. My computer guru says the files are there. If we can swap out the platters into an identical drive, he thinks he can save them to a new HD.
