wait this is confusing. You have Win XP and 512 MB RAM, am I correct? So how can you have 9000 GB RAM left? And I do believe you can run defrag at even 128MB RAM, its the minimum of 20% needed to defrag.

I swear to you I only have 9000 GB's left of memory and it says I need I don't have enough memory left. Where the heck did all of my memory go??? When I click on my c drive thing and properties the amount of space used is 61.3 GB and what is left is 8.68 GB.

Now I see what you are talking about. Lol kinda confused me there a bit.
First of all, how big is your hard drive and how many do you have?
    Go to Start>My Computer
Under hard disk drives, tell me how many you have.
Now right click each one, choose prpperties, and tell me the capacity of each one and the used space.

I think you can defrag with less than 20% free space it just takes longer. It should just ask if you want to run defrag anyway and you just say yes.

However, If you really don't know what is using so much hard drive space do a search in Explorer. Go to start=>search=>all files and folders=>What size is it?(specify size)=>choose larger than and enter 100000kb. This will give you a list of all files larger than 100mb. You may have created some very large unkown file. Otherwise you probably have a lot of music and video taking up the space.
