Need my Java back!

    WIN98SE, Netscape 7.0

    What would cause the loss of java applets on web pages?
    A couple of days ago the browser stopped displaying anything that required java. The icon displays as usual
    but now that means Netscapes gonna lock up. I do a CtrlAltDel, end it, and restart the browser. All is well until an applet is required.
    Java is enabled. I do have pop-ups suppressed but they have always been and didn't cause any problem. As far as I know (not sole user), no other settings have been changed.

    probably a corrupted VM, goto www.java.com and get the update verson from there. Should replace any exising VM ad fi you up.
