Need Old Program

Can anyone supply me with a copy of an old Adobe program called Photo Deluxe? I cannot get it anywhere. Or, can someone tell me the site to get it . All the usual places have not got it any more, and there are things in the program that are better than any other graphics program, including Photoshop. Thanks.

Let's hope you are planning on installing this 17 year old program on an old computer.
The system requirements are Win 9x and NT. It might install on XP but you may have trouble installing it on anything newer.

Here's how someone gets it to work on Windows 8

I run Photodeluxe 4.0 on my Windows 8.1 system. I use the Win xp3 Compatability mode setting for it.
However, PD usually hangs when first loaded. I then use Taskmanager's Wait Chain, which reports that Explorer is the culprit.
So, I cancel the explorer process, which allows Photodeluxe to run. Then I use Taskmanager to restart the explorer process. Once PD is running, I leave it running so as not to have to repeat the steps.

I'm not sure what you need this old program to do. I want to encourage an alternative that I am finding very useful. It is called paint.net. Very similar to adobe photoshop.
