Need program to fix unviewable DVD-recordings (unfinalized and crashed)

I just performed 7 really important interviews and 2 of then on the same DVD disc can´t be read in any DVD-player, not even the one that recorded them.

My problem is that I see that there is information recorded on the discs when i look at its backside (under the DVD-disc), but I can access it. I phoned the support for the DVD-recorder I had hooked up to the videocamera and they thought it must be because the recorder got problem at the end or right before finalizing the disc. All DVD-players thinks the disc is empty and can´t read it at all. The infromation is there but they can´t see it.

Is there a way to recover the data (video) stored on the discs? And how do I do it? Can I download any program to do it? Seems the DVD-recorder crashed during recording and thats why it can´t be viewed even in the recoringdevice..

PLZ Help me, I really need those video-recordings.
