   This post kind of piggy back's a recent thread of mine. I need a suggestion for a basic 'best bang for the buck' 1 TB usb 2.0 external hard drive. I know there's quite a few brands out there and I was hoping I could narrow it down fairly quickly.

   Spock96 Major Geek 'Spocky'

   Personally, I prefer Western Digital. I've never had a problem with the 1TB My Book Essentials that I have.
