Need Registry Help - Comp Won't Boot Properly

Chas, Shadow, BJ, etc....

My comp won't boot properly to my desktop in normal mode.... I have a feeling it's registry related.... I can boot into safe mode....

I use ERUNT, and RegCleaner....

I saved a copy of my registry in early Feb and want to reload that registry but I've never done so before..... Can I do that from safe mode? I know how to use ERUNT I'm just not sure if it's wise to load the old registry at this time....
