Need software "report"

I am again looking for a system management program that _NEVER_ changes anything I don't specifically tell it to do. So many programmers apparently think they know much better than the owner how the computer should be configured and do all sorts of changing without asking. One such program made over 2000 changes when I merely clicked "Scan."

I want one that doesn't even do ONE change that I don't specifically approve. Majorgeek lists those below. Can _anyone_ tell me if _any of these_ DO NOT have defaults to change stuff if you don't catch it and unclick it?

    Advanced System Care
    IObit Toolbox
    X-Setup
    Glary Utilities
    SSD Tweaker

    Hi

What exactly are you looking for in a program, as the list of programs you mention do a lot of different things.

Glary Utilities makes changes, but only based on the preferences you select. It also doesn't really have a generalized scan... it includes a myriad of different specific scan/fix components. If you leave the at default, they will do what they are set to do. If you change them, then obviously it will reflect the modified preferences you selected when doing the scans.

I haven't used the other software you mentioned, but it would be good to know exactly what you're trying to accomplish.

Exactly? Nothing. I want something that CAN do a million things like diagnosing problems or making off-the-wall settings like with TweakUI. But if I know about it I simply will never use anything that will do ANYTHING without me knowing it.

I have zero interest in making "pretty" changes. I have zero interest in copy cat programs that list how much memory you have or what resolution your monitor is set to, etc. In other words,

Maybe I should just say I want a TweakUI with 10 times as much that you can do with it, including diagnosing and telling you about freaky stuff instead of listing normal stuff like configurations, that you can get with regular system utilities. Or like warning you that you have a serious security problem because you aren't using MS security.

I'm responding to this again since I haven't gotten a single reply to my last one.

Your word "exactly" is exactly the opposite from what I'm looking for. I want a wide range of diagnostic and fix-it power without having to download 40 utilities that mostly copy what you can find in XPPro's own system tools.

If exactly applies at all it is in the common phrase "For Dummies." There are a zillion utilities (Belarc Advisor comes to mind) that list a bunch of memory addresses or tell you what processes or programs you have running. But none of them actually locate problems to any degree, much less know how to fix them or tell you how.

I saw something that looked like what I want, but I lost the connection and don't remember how to find it again.
