Need some assistance with a Vista Error

I have been looking all over online for the answer to this and also working with the developer of this software and neither one of us is any closer to a solution.

I have installed/uninstalled/reinstalled about 5 times now and nothing is working.
tried to open as administrator with no luck.

error logs are not of any help so far.

This is the only software application on my system that this happens to, all others work like they should.

here is my error:<software title name> has stopped working a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program.

and obviously there is no solution given or I wouldn't be here now.

I downloaded this same software to an old XP laptop of mine and when I tried to open it up it flashed the same error, however, XP let the program run and it worked fine. Vista keeps shutting it down.

How can I turn this annoying error of so i can run my software or what else can I try?

I know this software works on Vista because there has been around 1000 or better successful downloads and it works.

Something is triggering this error and I am turning here for some guidance to get it resolved.

Without knowing what the software is, it's hard to diagnose. Perhaps the version of this program is just not compatible with Vista? or perhaps it's just a bad download? It's really hard to say without more information.

 

it is an Auto Blogging Software. It is definitely compatible with Vista since it has been downloaded by 1000 or more people and a large majority are running vista. And talking to the developer he is pulling his hair out trying to help me resolve this.

I have downloaded it a few different times along with a newly updated version and vista is still shutting it down.
