need some help badddddd!!!!!!!!

ok guys ive got a lil problem my computers moniter out fried on me so i bought a graphics card thinking it would help well it dosent ok heres all the tec specs.... the mother board is a aopen #mk73le,with a amd duron 1.0ghz cpu and its only got pci slots so i got a compatible pci card, ok the card is a fx5500 geforce 256 mb ddr pci card. when i plug it in the moniter says no signal,no materwhat pci buss i plug it in to. now for the tricky part the computer wasjust put to gether and dosent have windows yet. my question is is their a way to get the video back with out sending the mother board off or buying another mother board???and i know the moniter woorks b/c i pluged it in on my wifes computer and it was fine. please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cry
