need some help fast

    Long time ago my comp had virus' and one of the system files got currupted and i re-installed XP last night. Now i have no sound. How do I deturmine what sound card i have so i can get the drivers? Because winamp says i have no sound device.

    I went to the device manager and it said

    Type: Sound, video and game controllers
    Manufactor: (Standard system devices)
    Location: Unknown
