Need some help for installing software

My daughter was given an MP3 player recently. The MP3 player itself seems to work fine. However, the cd that was included with the MP3 player is what is causing me trouble. I have installed it and my computer said it was installed correctly. When I go to open the application, the start up screen appears for about 1-3 seconds then goes away and nothing happens. I have uninstalled the program and re-installed. The company has been very hard to reach. I just want to add my daughters music to her MP3 player. I was able to successfully install the program at my computer at work so I am sure that is has something to do with my computer. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks.

hello, maybe you could upgrade your windows installer . uninstall mp3 first, may need newer version of windows installer.

Hi

What is your Windows version and the make and model of MP3 player?

Have you checked the makers site of the MP3 player for updated software?

Some MP3 players are picked up by Windows Media Player ( later versions 10 & 11 ) so you can Sync music with those... Open Windows Media Player ? click Sync if your device is picked up great, you just need to drag the music from the WMP library to the Sync list then click Sync.
