Hi Everyone, im new to the forums just discovered you guys not to long ago..
    anyways here is my problem

ill just details u my spec firstly
    - AMD 64 - 3500
    - x800xt PE
    - 1 gig OCZ 2x 512

my computer frequently restarts while playing world of war craft and sometimes just during surfing the net..

ive tried Switching Ram with other ram and removing 1 stick of ram but that has had no success. when i first started getting the problem i reformatted bcoz the computer needed one but also no effect. ive also gotten the ATi VPU error where it resets the graphics card but it doesnt actually reset it just freezes when it tries to.

could this be caused by Overheating or would i have another problem on my hands

if all else fails i will take it to my pc guy.. but any help would be much appreciated

    Thanks :D

Got the latest drivers from ATI website?

Check that auto restart isn't enabled - Start > Control Panel > System > Advanced Tab > Settings under "Startup and Recovery" > Uncheck the auto restart option, unless it's already unchecked.

I'm pretty sure it could be drivers, although what power rating is your PSU?

If your running windows xp, then i wouldn't say that it's a heat issue, i randomly get a system reboot no error message or anything. And i've got an intel p4 2.5 gig, 1 gig of ddr ram pc2100, and a ati radeon x1300 pro 256 meg ddr agp 4x.
