Ok I am trying to reinstall Windows XP Home back on my computer and it starts out doing ok. Then when it gets to "Starting Windows" it goes to a blue screen with this error...
    stop:0000221 unknown hard error
    systemroot system32 ntdll.dll

I've looked up the error I've ran chdsk and it finished fine. I have no clue what to do. I've already backed up all my files, I can't get on the default windows admin account because I forgot my password. The account I'm on now is admin though too and I tried doing recovery console but it says the password is wrong. I tried just leaving it blank and it still won't work. I really need some help with this anyone. Thank you ever so much.

Well I'm borrowing this disk and I did notice a small indent on the disk like possibly a dog tried to chew on it but I couldn't find the other disk they have. The Windows I have on here now is a burned copy because when I had to dump it before my computer didn't come with a copy of Win like it was supposed to. I would just feel better benefiting from the Windows Security Updates and all of that. So I will see if my cousin can find his other copy the only other alternative I have at the moment is going back to Win98. So we will see. Thank you!
